The Search

By now it’s probably obvious that I’m a little obsessed with these dreamy seascape pans. Always searching for that elusive frame which has all the right elements. This one came pretty close, but no cigar. So the search must continue. The Catalogue page on oshophoto.com showcases a collection I am putting together for my upcoming exhibition in May 2021. The show is called “Signs of Light” and will feature a series of my silky seascapes. The intent behind these images is to evoke a sense of calm in the viewer. I’d love to for people who see my work to feel connected to that healing energy we sense when exposed to the spectrum of light that is responsible for the warm golden glow around sunset and sunrise.

Let’s forget the past 12 months and try this again. Our exhibition is back on for 2021, from May 3rd to 16th @beachescouncil Creative Space in North Curl Curl. Join myself and the incredibly talented @toledoproject and @skillzbykat as we each interpret various qualities of light and through our own unique aesthetic. I’m honoured to share the gallery with two artists that I respect and admire enormously. Can’t wait to see you all there for opening night. With the support of the local art-loving community it’s going to be one hell of a show!
